Color Schemes

Complementary colors are opposite colors on
the color wheel. They create a contrast in between
them. A football team which uses complementary
colors as a logo are for example the Denver broncos,
with blue and orange.
All colors are based on three ground colors.
Red, blue and yellow. For example red mixed with
yellow creates orange. Yellow and blue creates
green, and blue mixed with red creates purple.

In addition to the 12 basic colors on the
color wheel, you can add 100 more, if you regard
the different color values. White added with a color
creates a lighter color tone, also called tint. Black
added with a color creates a darker color tone,
named as shade. The more shader a color is, the more
it tends to be black. The more tinter a color is, the
more it tends to be white.
There are also neutral colors, which are considered,
to contain equal parts of the three basic colors. For
example black, white, gray and sometimes brown,
are neutral colors.

Color Schemes for websites:

Analogous colors are adjacent on the color wheel.
They are in between two of the three basic colors,
which are next to each other. It is used for example
at http://ard.de/

Complementary colors are opposite on the color
wheel. They complement each other with a
high contrast. An example is

Monochromatic colors are colors of the same kind,
just shaded or tinted. For example

On the cutting edge

Who is requesting this RFP?
The RFP is requested by CEO, a big and successful corporation, being interested
in having EyeSight creating a managed website for them.

Why has Chris called a meeting in the Zone?
Because he needs a list of every Team, that describes a perfect website.

How will your team prove that you are the best qualified team to take on this project?
My Team will choose and proof every single step for creating the best website.
We wont let any point out.

Summarize in a couple of sentences what your 1st step is to accomplish this task.
Our first step is to make a sketch of a perfect website, and figure out all
the single steps and put them in the right order. Every body will get his ideas
in the final script, so missing ideas and wrong parts will be figured out.

When describing a good website, Why are descriptive words like; cool, easy, fun, and awesome not good enough to satisfy the CEO of this company?
These words just describe how the single person would describe a website.
But we want to describe how the website looks like, so the readers can
form themselves an image of our ideas.

What does the CEO want and how will you achieve this?
They want a list of the perfect website and a design grid.

Lastly, Name the individual roles and tell me who on your team is assign to them.

Kai Backhaus: Texts; Andrew Hays: Graphics;
Will Simon: information architect
